What to expect: Design the Work you Love™ is about applying design thinking, process and tools, to thinking about your career as an entrepreneur with creativity and optimism. With our Design the Work You Love™ initiative, we help people and organizations to think about their work differently, using our creative process, Deconstruction: Reconstruction™ – a simple and proven design thinking process we use. We will lead the group through design examples, constructive metaphors, playful tools and optimistic visualizations to explore Work with imagination, to help see things from a new perspective—the place from which new ideas and inspiration often come from—and to create the work they love. The goal of the session is three-fold:
- Learn a simple yet powerful design thinking process that could be applied to work, life or specific work-related challenges
- Uncover insights about yourself, work values and vision
- Bring clarity about the future of the work we love that translates into action and rekindling of purpose.
What to bring: Your favorite notebook and pen. No prior design experience required!
What you will take with you: An autographed copy of Design The Life You Love by Ayse Birsel
