A core faculty at the Transdisciplinary Design MFA program at Parsons, Lara coordinates an area of study of Service Design within the Integrated Design BFA program and is also a co-founder of Parsons DESIS Lab: a multidisciplinary research lab that works at the intersection of strategic and service design, management, and social theory, applied to sustainable practices and social innovation.

Marshall leads communications campaigns for Citi Community Development, which works alongside municipal & nonprofit sector leaders to expand financial inclusion and economic opportunity for vulnerable and underserved communities. He teaches graduate courses on service design at the School of Visual Arts & NYU, and collaborates on service design research with the University of Applied Sciences & Arts of Western Switzerland.
